Pre-K Graduation 2011

Well, my big boy had his first Pre-K graduation. Why do I say the first? Well, because he won't be going to kindergarten next year. He has a late birthday so he'll be in pre-k again next year. But his current Pre-K had all of the kids participate in the graduation. What a great idea! Enjoy the videos. Psst . . . The Worlds Greatest is my favorite.

Emmanuel singing . . . .

My son has started singing . . I mean singing all the time. Even songs he doesn't know. But one song has really caught this songster, I GIVE MYSELF AWAY by William McDowell. It is truly a beautiful song! I LOVE it! and I love that he loves it and has a four-year-olds understanding of what it is about - even if God takes us to Pizza hut and Chucky Cheese. I think that's called provision - right?

Edens Flowers

My daughter and I are fighting over what to do with her hair. It has grown in all the way around except a few spots in the back just above the nape area.

I can braid - so sometimes I braid it. Sometimes I put it in little puffs (like in these pictures) and sometimes I want to try something a little different and lately I've been wanting a really cute way to let her "style" her whole afro. It was just then that I remembered a flower headband that a photographer friend of mine once used on Eden in her first photo shoot (photgrapher friends website: Gail Montgomery Photography). So off I went to Banner Boutiques. All of their items are handmade and most can be made custom to your liking.

So here is my PRETTY GIRL trying on her new flowers. She really enjoyed the dress up session. We tried out one of the new bows for church today and it was so cute!


Mommy has been busy, but I'ma try to do better with the postings this year.
