Just after the summer we started looking for a new school for Emmanuel. His now previous daycare center was just fine, but we were interested in a K2 (Kindergarden for 2 year olds) program for him. He has so much energy, is interested in so much, and is a quick learner so we wanted to foster that. We also opted for a Christian school. I believe that if there was still prayer in public schools (and at home) the schools would be a better place to send your kids.
Being that Emmanuel wasn't 2 years old when we first began looking things were tough. We thought about and even got into Montessori, but decided it wasn't right for us. So 2 local Christian Academys is what we set our sights on. I just happened to call back to one of our top choices once Emmanuel was nearing two and they actually had an opening. So fast forward a couple of weeks and Emmanuel was accepted.
Here he is on his first day, which was picture day. They do wear uniforms and the tie is only required on chapel day. I think he's going to like it. I am the one who wants to cry - where's my itty bitty baby?
